One True Love
True. I have loved so many girls before. But there is only one true love for me.

Having a Sense of Security
I know that having a life insurance is like getting a sense of security not just for me but for the rest of the family. The law firm I used to work for does not offer life insurance for its employees. I tried getting a
life insurance quote but when I got the figure, I was quite hesitant over getting one. It was too hefty for me. I ma gonna look for a better job when I come there so that I can get a life insurance.
Out of Trend?
Unlike many men I know who follows the latest
men's fashion trend, I prefer to have a statement fashion of my own. I mean, I wouldn't dare go with the bandwagon if I am not comfortable with what I am wearing. I won't say that I am out of trend but I am not a
fashionista either. Being confident and comfortable with what I wear are the two most important thing for me before buying new clothes. I know a friend who follows the latest trend but he ended up hating his clothes because he is not comfortable wearing those. Such a waste of money!

Getting Insured
I know quite a number of clients from the law firm I used to work for before who have invested so much on having a
family life insurance. I know that having one can be costly and so getting a family life insurance takes a lot of thinking and consideration first. But if it's for your family's security, would you not want to get an insurance for your family too?

Gil and Rocky
I am fond of dogs. In fact, had I not taken Comm Arts in DLSU, I would have taken Vet Med in UPLB. They say that dog is a man's best friend. I am not sure how true is that but for me, I like taking care of dogs. Almost two years ago, I gave wifey this when she got bored about or long distance relationship.
Meet RockyLast year, I have Daddy this Labrador.
Mighty GilRaising dogs with breed can be quite tedious and expensive too. At times, we had to look for cheap
dog supplies of our shih tzu and labrador. So most probably, I would just have to send them dog supplies from US.

She's Two Sick
Yesterday I didn't let Thet to go to work because she catch a cold and she feels like her eyes are swirling around. We're too worried about the situation because she's pregnant. We thought about getting a flu shot but of course we need to consult it to the doctor because of our baby. We decided to go tomorrow because we're too tired and we woke up very late today.

Do you have balls to play Paintball?
When I was in California last summer, my cousins from Los Angeles invited me to play Paintball. I wasn't really familiar with that kind of outdoor game but it sounds super exciting to me except for the weather is way too hot during that time. So, of course I got tagged along with their activity since I am not doing anything during that day. But I didn't have any idea about where are we going to play.
Two hours of driving in the desert of California, we have finally arrived in our destination. I thought that they are prepared for playing Paintball, but I was wrong. They didn't bring any equipment at all! Geeze... Good thing there's a boot in the area that allow players to rent Paintball equipments. I say before thinking go wild with this thing, they should go to www.pntball.com and get their equipments first!
I was able to shop online at Ultimate Paintball when we came back again last winter for our second round! This time I am the winner! If you are interested with this kind of outdoor game also, you should also check out their ultimate paintball gun packages!Labels: gadget, money talks, painball
Skyping on PSP
Have you heard it? The most anticipating all in one hand held gaming device Sony PSP becoming a phone has finally came true! Thanks to their recent 3.90 firmware update, they've added this awesome Skype service! I was so excited for a while about this good news, not until I found out that this added software will only works with Slim type PSPs. Why? they said older PSP's RAM has only 32MB versus 64MB on Slim types. That means we have to buy new Slim PSP to take advantage of this VOIP service by Skype. That ain't good for me, but this still a good thing because I am a Skype user. This is my way to connect with my Beh when I am abroad.

Frustration on my laptop - Part 2
Since recent unknown accident that happens to my lovely laptop's lcd, my usual hobby of bringing it with me during my night shift help in my mom's gas station has been put aside. Now I can't do browsing on my fellow blogger's blogs anymore. Now I can't watch DvDs or even browse my ka-friendsters. I am stuck with nothing but to play my PSP. Speaking of that, I actually have two PSP. The other one last night got cracked on it's LCD just like what happen to my laptop... I can't take it anymore, first it's my laptop then here's my PSP! What else? my Ipod has stopped working , but the LCD is good. But I don't consider that as a good thing. But, anyway... I manage to asked people around and I did some good research and found out that replacement of LCD will cost a lot! And they don't recommend it. Just like what other people said, when a laptop LCD got damaged, it would be better to replace the whole unit. Well, on my case since I am such a cheap guy. I don't like being contented with those advices. So, I tried to do more research... moooore. Then I landed in ebay. It was actually my first choice for broken items for sale. But this broken items aint no junk, you can still use them for replacement parts. But luckily my laptop isn't one of those junks YET. I discovered some people are selling these lovely tresures in ebay. If I am going to resurrect my LCD using these used parts, It would probably cost me about 6 thousand including everything like shipping and handling from US. Compare to our local repair shop, they would probably going to charge me for parts and labor for about 10 to 15 thousand. Yep, they said it's because my laptop is a widescreen.
One piece of advice if this thing ever happened to you. Try to buy VGA cable and hook up your laptop to any monitor or HDTV. That would probably help you out a little. It works for me :-)Labels: gadget

Shes still have her Chinese blood of her Grandfather. According to them, this year is the year of the rat. Rat people are lucky. In our house we kill rats but I heard that in Vietnam, they eat them. Text bomb
I was with Thet and my niece Chelsea today and driving towards Baclaran to drop off Thet in MRT Station when I received this forwarded text message from my Mom:
"I m CA R. Diaz ng ISAF, pls. help me 2 publish s lahat na tao pu2nta sa nabangit kong lugar, tommorow phil. Time 11 am. Plan A. LRT BACLARAN TERMINAL. PLAN B. TUTUBAN MALL, PLAN C. UNIWIDE QUIAPO. Report namin pasabogin yan bkas para maligaw ang isyo sa senado 2ngkol kay Lozada. Tanx. Pls Pass."
Then when I got home, I logged in to the internet and check if this is all true. And yes I found the rumor that even the PNP has been warned about this text message.
Is this is true? Even if this is a hoax, I will never take the risk of going to this bombing area. I've also warned people on my phonebook. I hope you guys avoid these places too. I can't imagine how desperate our government to avoid the issue of this stupid ZTE scam, they will try to kill people.

Insurance for Service Van
The friend that we met from the internet (who happened to sponsor our honeymoon in Boracay) is now thinking of getting a van for his service. One of the things he is considering though is the cost of van insurance. He has visisted quite a number of various car insurance sites but isureinsurance seems to offer the best value. As this company is totally independent, they are able to shop around a wide range of insurers in order to bring its customers the best insurance policy at the most affordable price. They also have competent and experience professionals who have decades of experience between them. This site though is purely based in UK. Labels: auto, P3

SUV or Two-Door Car?
I just read a blog entry posted by wifey regarding owning a luxury car. I would just shake my head every time I remember the times when we would joke around about owning one. But on a more serious note, I am now thinking of either getting an SUV or a sedan. I know that it will take one more year before I could get them here so as early as now, I am looking at Car Prices at the websites I have visited.
March 3
Its now set. March 3 will be the day that I will leave my wife and our little angel in her tummy. It will take us another 15 months before we could see each other. By that time, our little angel will turn 1 year old. Sigh! Hope there is more than I can do. :(
Winter Again
It's winter time again. I know that in some part of the America, they are experiencing snow storm at this period. Some of the senior citizens I know do not really like winter season. They would often go to tropical places like Hawaii or Florida during this time of the year. I only got to experience winter only once. That was in 2004 when I was in New York. It was a fun experience though at night, sleeping in the cold season was not a nice experience. How I wish that the room we rented (yes, we only got a room, not a hotel when we stayed there for 2 weeks) had wall heaters like this one.

When wifey and baby gets here, we're planning to move to either Washington or New York so I amnow looking for heaters. Unfortunately, I didn't find any kerosene shop heaters in the area so I guess we really need to order this online.
Wedding Teaser
I just want to share on funny shot that was taken during our wedding. More pictures will be posted soon. That's a promise!

Signed Up with PPP!
It's been a while since I had this website. Honestly, I wasn't sure if this is going to be approved since this one is just new. Wifey was the one who encouraged me to do paid blogging. I have already seen quite a number of PPP affiliate and referral banners but I just ignored those before. Wifey was so persistent in telling me that I should try it too. At first, I was quite hesitant trying this one but when I saw her Paypal account, boy! She was earning quite a large sum of money through blog reviews. She is earning dollars! In fact during our wedding, we had our emergency cash funds through her paid blogging stint.
Now that we are going to have our little "Therrence" (as the domain of this site suggests), it gave me more reason to more active doing paid blogging. Aside from our monthly savings, what ever I will earn from PPP will be dedicate for Therrence's needs. We want to provide "him" all the things that he needs. We don't want him to be deprived of the things we never got to enjoy before as we were not born with silver spoons in our mouth.

Ok. Enough said. I should go back with my blog hopping! :)

My headache and my Motorola a925
It's been 2 years since we stop using this amazing PDA phone. I bought it from ebay for Thet because she's working in a call center, I thought that it would be helpful for her to manage and organize her daily routine with the help of this phone. Unfortunately, my niece accidentally locked up my a925 keyboard and put a password on it. So how the hell do we know how a 1 year old little girl did that? Of course, Thet tried to figured out every possible password that she put on it, but still there's no luck. During that time I was in the US, so I can't help her out configuring what to do about it. She decided to buy a cheap phone and forget about the PDA. But Now I am back here, and finally got a time to fix it.

First thing that I did was look for all the accessories that came with it, including the software. Yep, I tried installing the software first and follow all the necessary precautions to avoid crashing of the phone. But I haven't reach that point yet because my a925 won't connect with my PC. It says device is not recognized or something like that when I plugged in the USB link cable from my phone to my computer. I was like "damn, what is this? How come there is no driver? There should be a driver on the disc!". After figuring it out for about a week, I found out that the driver that comes with the CD was old and can only be used by Windows 2000 OS, but hello? the phone was manufactured 2004, why they didn't make any driver for Windows XP?" . It gave me so much headache for the past few days and found out that this thing is just too simple. Actually, I thought that it was too simple, like way too simple. I was thinking that finding an a925 driver in Google would be so easy, but it just made my head exploded. I can't find anything at all! Until I landed with some internet forums and helped me out a little configuring the way for my PC to discover that the phone is synchronizing correctly.
The first thing you must do is to disconnect the usb link cable from your phone into your PC and download driver tool to replace the incompatible driver that has been installed in your PC. After the installation, unzip it and extract it. After extraction, double click the program and it will start replacing your old a925 driver and replace it with a new one. After that please follow these steps:
1) After downloading the DriverTool:
http://www.bvrp.com/Customers/Motorola/DriverTool.zip
2) The original copies of the INF files will be placed in your NT user profile directory, along with the driver log which will tell you the file names of the OEM*.INF precopied versions that are in C:\WINNT or WINDOWS\INF.
3) Open the driver log (C:\Documents and Settings\your user\Motorola_Driver_Log.txt) and find the three OEM*.INF and *.PNF files that were copied to C:\WINDOWS\INF (this is denoted at the end of the log) and then head to C:\WINDOWS\INF and delete them.
4) Similarly, delete any INF/PNF backups that might exist in your NT user profile directory (starting with 10xxxxxxx.INF/PNF).
5) Then open USBMOT2000.INF. Find the line for USB PID 0x22B8 / 0x2A22, and remove it.
6) Go into USBMOT2000XP.INF, and add a few lines for 0x2A22. Like this:
%USBMOTMODEM% = USBMOTOXP, USB\VID_22B8&PID_2A22
7) Plug in your phone. When it asks for drivers, point it at your profile directory.
8) After everything is finished, Device Manager should report that Motorola USB Modem is now using "usbsermptxp.sys", and you should be all set.

To flash your phone or let's say you want to update the firmware of your phone, please follow these steps. You may Google these softwares to download them:
1.) If you have downloaded the a925 PC suite already, please disable mrouter.
2.) Be sure that you have SP2 installed on your PC. If you still do not have it please run Windows update in your Control Panel.
3.) Try to Google P2k Advance Editor. Dowload and Install it.
4.) Run P2K advance editor and connect the usb from phone to your PC.
5.) Once the USB has been connected to your PC, your PC will ask for driver. Please manually point it to MotPCdrivers folder.
6.) It will install the necessary driver for your A925.
7.) Close P2K Advance Editor.
8.) Go to esnips.com and search for RSD Lite. Download and install it.
9.) After that, make sure your battery is fully charge.
10.) Remove simcard and memory card if you have one.
11.) Press both game buttons "o" and "oo" and hold them
12.) press both game buttons "o" and "oo" and hold them
13.) Connect your phone (game buttons are still pressed) with your usb-cable and power cable (DON´T UNPLUG THE PHONE AT ANY TIME)
14.) Let both game buttons go -> phone is showing something like "AP is on CE-Bus"
15.) Run RSD lite 1.6
16.) Windows will probably find a new device (if you get an error message saying that the device was not correctly installed just shut down your PC and restart; after restart don´t forget to kill the two mRouter tasks and run RSD lite 1.6 once again)
17.) Click on "show device"
18.) Select flash file (you can Google these flash files also)
19.) Click "start"
20.) During the flash process Windows will find 3 new devices; either select automatic driver installation or manually point to the MotPCSDrivers directory.
The first time I flashed my A1000/ A925 I got an error message after 100%: flashing failed, DON´T PANIC. If you get the same error message (DON´T UNPLUG THE PHONE FROM USB CABLE) go on with 25 otherwise (if everything is OK) let's go on with next steps:
21.) close RSD lite 1.6
22.) switch off phone (1/0 switch on the right side of the phone)
23.) now you have to unplug phone from USB cable
24.) start from 18 once again (after the second time flashing succeeded)
--
25) after flashing shows 100% phone will restart (DON´T UNPLUG FROM USB CABLE YET)
26) Do all the initial settings (language, time etc.)
27) RSD lite 1.5.1 will show: status finished; result PASS
28) Now you may close RSD lite 1.6 und unplug USB cable

SECRETS BEHIND THE KIDS
Every time Gerry and Zeny made love, Gerry insisted on turning the lights off. And so, after twenty years, Zeny decided to turn on the lights and found her husband holding a vibrator.
ZENY: You impotent bastard! How could you have lied to me all these years??
Gerry Looks her straight in the eyes and calmly said: " I can explain the vibrator but you have to explain the KIDS!!!
Husband Wanted
There once was a lady who was tired of living
with men who were either physically abusive, who
ran away from her, or who were horrible in bed.
So she put an Ad in the paper, that was asking
for a man who:
1) would treat her nicely
2) wouldn't run away from her,
3) would be good in bed.
Three weeks passed, and there was no reply from
any man. So she just figured that there wasn't a
man alive who could live up to these expectations, so she just gave up. But then, one day she heard the doorbell rang. She answered it, and there on the front porch was a man in a wheel chair who didn't have any arms or legs. The man said "I'm here about the ad you put in the paper. As you can see, I have no arms so I can't beat you, and I have no legs so I can't run away from you."
The woman replied, "Yes, but are you good in
bed?"
And the man said with a smirk on his face, "How
do you think I rang the doorbell?"
What is politics?
Little Juan goes to his dad and ask, "What is Politics?" Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way. I am the breadwinner of the family, so let's call myself CAPITALISM. Your Mommy is the administrator of the money, so let's call her GOVERNMENT. We're here to take care of your needs, so let's call you PEOPLE. Your Nanny, well... consider as the WORKING CLASS. Your baby brother is the FUTURE. Now go think about this and see if it makes sense.
So the little Juan goes to bed thinking about what dad has said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying and run to his room only to find out his diapers are very soiled. So Little Juan goes to his parent's room. Mommy is sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her up, he goes to his Nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he looked through the peephole and sees his father in bed with his Nanny. He gives up and goes to bed.
The next morning, little juan says to his dad, "Dad, I think I know now what is Politics."
"Good, son, tell what is Politics in your own words"
Little Juan replies,"WELL, WHILE CAPITALISM IS SCREWING THE WORKING CLASS, THE GOVERNMENT IS SOUND ASLEEP, THE PEOPLE R BEING IGNORED AND THE FUTURE IS IN DEEP SHIT" Labels: joke joke lang

Ready to take the lead.
"When a child is born, a parent is born..."
-- From a billboard at EDSA
It wasn't that long since I get married. Yet, here I am surprised with a baby on my wife's tummy! Some says that I am a sharpshooter, but no I am just being productive! LOL. But for real? I really need to get things going. I am 28 now and turning 29 this year. I mean, how can I manage to keep up with my kids when they've reach their teenage years if I cannot walk or run anymore? That really sucks! I still want to play as a cool daddy with them and don't want my ass to be rotten on a wheelchair! Hell no!

We found out Thet's pregnancy last week. We felt something that telling us to do a pregnancy test. Then, bingo! she is! Later that day, we went to our local hospital in Noveleta to confirm her pregnancy. Finally, it was indeed confirmed 4-5 weeks baby on my wife's belly. Hah! I am a Father!
I just felt a little bit Emo when I got surprised. Emo, because my vacation will be cut down from 5 months into 4 months vacation. Why? I need a job for God sake! So we can save up some money for him/her. And another thing, I need to submit my application for American citizenship when I get back in the US. So that, when baby has finally delivered out from Thet's, we won't be too worried about the child's paper, because the baby is already American because I am American (but not really a proud AC). The worst of all, Thet will be alone again... *sigh.
I can't believe that we're all started from this little cute thing!
