Metrosexuals and Body Building
I was once a gym buff. Well, that was months before hubby came for our wedding. When he was finally here, I just lost the urge to go to the gym simply because time seems to always run out for me. While I was thinking of getting diet pills to expedite my "slimming" dreams, I heard to metrosexuals talking about using steroids. I was riding an FX back then. While one is pointing out the pro's and cons of using steroids in body building, the other one discussed the Fenphedra review that he just read in the internet. Based from what I heard, I think this Fenfedra is a better option for those who wants to succeed in the body building field.
Oh well, I promised myself that I'll be hitting the gym again once I deliver our precious peanut. :)

A day of Fun
Earlier, hubby’s folks and I went to Akane’s (my niece) first birthday celebration held at the SM Fairview Storyland. When we left Cavite, the weather was gorgeous but for some reason as we reached the elliptical road in Quezon City, the sky started to get dark and rain fell. Good thing though that by the time we reached the Fairview vicinity, the rain has already stopped so we didn’t get ourselves wet. LOL The party was a huge success. The number of attendees is just overwhelming. It was like an adult party. I had fun. I can’t wait for the day that my little peanut is going to be the one who will celebrate "his" first birthday. Hopefully, we’ll celebrate it with his dad around. J

Is it too late?

I have a co-worker/friend in the office who asked me if I know anybody who can give him a short term life insurance quote. The man is already in his late 50’s. Though he knows that he is pretty much healthy, he just wants to know if there is still an option for his to get a life insurance. As he said, this is something that he forgot to get when he was still young. Personally, I admire the man because at his age, he can still keep up with the young ones. I mean, his sense of humor is just like anybody I know in the office who are in their late 20’s and his adaptability to a fast-paced environment is just super. I hope he’ll get promoted soon.

Summer time Again
It's summer time again and I'm missing hubby. I don't think we have already spent a summer vacation together. My mind is now drooling towards Boracay.
When we went to Boracay, we had a hard time looking for the most affordable honeymoon package we could get. It was a surprise to me that January is still considered as a peak season. True enough there were lots of people in Boracay during that time. The hotels there were fine but pretty expensive. We tried to look for beach vacation homes like the Outer Banks rentals but we didn't find any.

"Dressing" a car
I once asked a co-worker where he bought his car rims .I thought that he bought it from the car accessories haven in Banawe but I was wrong. Apparently, his rims were sent by his mom from the US. It also came with the Asanti grills . I’m telling you, his car really made him looked "handsome" LOL. The only downside though, he had to bribed people from the customs bureau or else, he will pay a fortune for the taxes of these goods.

Changing the Door Knob
I heard that the former tenant in our apartment didn’t return the set of keys to our landlord. Now my housemate and I are thinking of whether we should change the lock on the front door or not. You know, just for security purposes. I have seen a few designs of door knobs but I am hoping I could find a design that is as stylish as the ones that Schlage offers.

One More Day
I'm looking towards week end. I've been pretty darn bored with the management training that I am atetnding right now. I couldn't wait for Friday. Oh, by the way, I just bought 2 comforters and 2 sets of pillow cases. A/C unit has just been installed last Monday. Thank God. I am now getting a sound sleep.

Moved
Alas, I have already moved to our new apartment. It’s not really the first class type of apartment that you can find in a more urbanized city like the North Padre Island rentals but I am just happy that the building has the provision for facilities like cable, home telephone and wireless internet. Smart Bro’s tower is just across so our street so perhaps in the next couple of months, I’ll be able to subscribe to the wireless service. I badly need internet so that I can constantly communicate with hubby.

More Shirts for Hubby
I am not really that picky when it comes to my clothes as long as I am comfortable wearing it. But whenever I am with hubby, I sometimes get a little impatient when he shops for t-shirts. What the heck! It only takes me 5-10 minutes to choose a blouse whereas, it would take an hour (and he would fit several shirst) to finally choose a design that he wants. That's why whenever we are out to shop, I would just usually stay outside the store so that I won't get bored waiting for him to choose a shirt out of a dozen. LOL Now that he is out of the country, I am thinking of sending him a few more shirts and hopefully, I wouldn't get a complaint that he didn't like the design or else, I will no longer shop for him!

Couch for the Lazy Potato
I just mentioned in my other blog that I bought a few household items this evening. We’re still yet to buy 6 bean bags and I am really eyeing for a small couch. I’m hoping that I could find a store that offers discount furniture so that I could still a few set of curtains for my room. I want a "dark" room. I don’t want sunlight. Does that make me a vampire? LOL I guess I want a dark room so that it won’t be hard for me to set up my mood when going to sleep. Maybe, we’re just gonna buy the bean bags this week and the couch will come in later this month.

T.V. Bummer
Channel 9/Crimes Suspense is my kind of channel. It has the court-room drama that I really want and some other forensic science series. It’s something really entertaining to me. I would always tune in as early as 6 o’clock in the morning. However, it came to be a bummer to me yesterday when I opened the TV and found out that instead of my favorite Law and Order, a golf competition is being shown. I honestly don’t have any idea on the different type of golf balls like Ping Golf. I am not a gold fanatic. Maybe Cheryl ni Ed (a co-w@wie) could enlighten me on this.

Wood or Metal?
When Russell and I would talk about getting a house of our own, he would insist having wood interiors and furniture. At first, I didn't like that idea but after browsing countless numbers of magazine, I was finally convinced. Though we have not yet talk about getting exterior shutters, I’m sure he is going to opt for a wood shutter. We really want to limit having metal and glass interior and exterior aesthetics. We just want the "earthly" approach.

Of Travelling Abroad
How I wish we had Delsey luggage bags when we went to Boracay last January. Not just I find it fashionable but I aso find it very durable based on the numerous feedback that I got from my online buddies. This type luggage bag was first introduced to me when I was just a newbie to the yahoo support group for those soon-to-wed couples. In fact, some of the brides I know had this bag as their token/souvenir for their female principal sponsors. The sponsors are using the bags when they travel abroad.

Papaya dance in Good Morning America, seriously
I was browsing Youtube and look what I found.... Papaya Dance featured in Good Morning America! It's just fun to see these little dance moves to reach the United States. I will be so proud if I were Edu Manzano to see these American newscasters dancing to his Papaya Dance!... And me too, I don't have any idea why did they call it "Papaya Dance". You can call it stupid, but forget Macarena and do this crazy Papaya "too-roo-roo-root".

Oh F*ck...Let's mess-up this website a little.

Parusa

Erap dreamed that he died and went to heaven. St. Peter gave him Ai-ai delas Alas as partner, saying, 'Kung mabait ka sana , mas maganda ang partner mo".

Then Erap saw Chavit with Gretchen Barretto and said, "Bakit si Chavit, mas madaming kasalanan, si Gretchen ang partner?' St. Peter: "Iho, parusa yan kay Gretchen".

Pimple Free
Hubby has been with pimple battle for the past 5 years of his life. It all started when he had two jobs- a full time and a part tie. Ironically, I did not have any problems with pimples until now. Though I really don't need those acne treatment, I'll make sure that I will have those facial treatments once I deliver our little peanut. I badly need that "me-time" alone. Hehehehehe.
