Florida Vacations
I am now a fan of the medical drama Nip/Tuck. So far, I haven't seen much scenery in the program aside from the beaches of Miami. I know that Florida as so much to offer to tourist. It must be pretty exciting for those people who have already seen this beautiful place. Tourism is really alive in this place. I am having fun browing travel packages especially the fun part of visiting theme parks such as the Orlando vacations.

Of Jobs and More
Daddy R just landed a job in ebay. He is set to leave O.C anytime soon as he needs to relocate in downtown LA where their office is located. Pay is just a-ok. But I am hoping that their company also offers life insurance unlike the previous offer he worked for where he barely got employee benefits. I know that it’s recession time in US. So despite of the fact that I’ve been working with American multinational call center companies for 5 years already, I am afraid that I might not land a supervisory job when I get there. But I don’t have qualms being an agent again. And I’m crossing my fingers that hubby and I can work in the same office.

Weighing Options Really Pay Off
One of our good neighbors has to leave their house ASAP. Apparently, they were not able to keep up with the enormous amount of interest rate on their monthly amortization. I guess, it really pays off when you got to choose who among those mortgage lenders can give you the best value for their money. When they had their house mortgage, they didn’t look for more options. They just got the first one who was willing to ‘help’ them. The latest I heard is they are going to rent an apartment unit that is also within the subdivision vicinity. Too bad. Tsk tsk tsk!

Retro and Memories
I am browsing the online photo album that I have for the company. It has been 3 years now since I started working as a member of the quality department. I have so much memories from the good old days. I remember during my first year, we had our anniversary celebration theme as ‘retro'. One of my best buddies really took the time to dress up. She even borrowed her mom’s vintage sunglasses. She got the best in costume award. :)

I want to be a model
Seriously, when I was young, I thought about being a model. I have nice abs, nice body structure of a perfect model and a decent face. Not until I got infected by acne. But, I am not very confident about standing in front of crowded people. But if could turn back the time, I would love to join the LOOK OF THE YEAR contest. They are looking for people around the world for chance to be a model in Paris by sending the very best pictures to their website(www.lookoftheyear.com). Imagine the possibilities of working with different people from around the world and win $10,000? That should be fun.

Jesus Christ, that would be so good if become supermodel representing the Philippines! and do all the cat walk with matching potty lips. Now, that makes me realize it's super gay.

Money making
I recently joined Bloggerwave and found out that I already have an account with them. I just found out lately that my wife signed me up on it long time ago, but never had a chance to visit again. But now here is the money making blog site. Making people rich for doing their Blog and advertise at the same time. It's a no brainer for anyone who want to have an extra income by just doing their blog. This is perfect for anyone who don't have a job yet like me.

Blue Flag
I haven't felt so happy until my wife told me that we are going to have a baby boy. Yes! It's a boy! I always wish that I want a boy first. I've been very down these past few days for being out of work. No money, nothing to do, the gas is high and the freaking companies are cutting off their employees hours. The states is pretty fucked up. At least for a moment, I got inspired for hunting more jobs for my baby boy. So this is the feeling of a proud father? Yup! So HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the fathers out there, including me!

Hayyy...
Finally after a week and a half, the companies that I applied for a job has started calling me. Thanks also to my cousin for referring me to this nice company in downtown Los Angeles. I was actually there this after noon. I just got home from there. The freaking traffic is horrible. On top of that, I got lost because of stupid mapquest! So, yeah I feel at east now at least somethings to look forward to.

First Day High!
It’s been just been two days since classes started. Unfortunately though, my nephew has not yet started attending the class. My brother just left for Singapore and the nephew fetched him to the airport. He also joined a contest (which by the way he won the first prize), and I got he got pretty tired because of it. But when he saw his new textbooks, he got pretty excited. Alas, he will be coming to school tomorrow.

After Pregnancy
While searching the internet regarding some maternity stuff, I found out that women tend to maintain 10 pounds of weight they gained during pregnancy. I am a member of various support groups for pregnant women. I used to be active in those group discussions. From those discussions, I found out that quite a number of moms have taken Phentermine 37.5 mg. It is said to be safe, affordable and effective. If doing rigid exercise will not work for me, I might try this one.

International or Domestic?
As early as now, I am already planning a vacation get away with hubby when he comes back September of next year. There are few choices in my list: Boracay (again), Batanes, Sagada , Palawan or a trip to Tokyo. Going to Tokyo has a 60-40, (possibility of 60% of going there) chance. Living in Tokyo can be quite expensive. So most probably, we will just have a domestic-bound vacation. I am torn between getting a hotel room or just rent a villa just like the Tuscany villa rentals. I have to make sure first where I can save more.

Generations of Mustang
I was watching an old James Bond film (perhaps, it was a 70’s film) in one of the cable TV stations and I can’t help but wonder who is the maker of this great automobile. Apparently, it is from Ford and it comes with five generations. As I became curious about its history, I browsed this site: http://www.americanmuscle.com/browsebyyear.html. The first generation was the model that has been manufactured sometime 1964-1973. The prototype was a two-seat, mid-engine roadster. Personally, this is the Mustang model that I like the most. It was later remodeled into a four-seat car. Then came the second generation mustang (1974-1978.) The Mustang II featured innovations such as rack-and-pinion steering and a separate engine sub-frame that greatly decreased noise, vibration, and harshness. In 1979 (third generation) the Mustang's interior was re-styled to comfortably accommodate four people, despite a smaller rear seat. But Mustang only had its Mustang underwent its first major redesign in 15 years in 1994 (fourth generation). I know that the present generation of Mustang is set to come out another innovation. The 2010 Mustang, due to be launched early in 2009, has been designed to look smaller than its predecessor even though the actual dimensions are essentially unchanged.

Hotel, Condo? or CondoTel?
When we were busy preparing our wedding, part of our wedding checklist is our hotel accommodation. We just don’t want to go through the hassle of fixing and bugging people in our respective homes. Through my course of finding the perfect place where we could do our wedding day preparation, I was torn on whether I should just rent a condo unit for a day, a hotel unit or a condo hotel. In the end, we ended up getting the biggest suite in the Manila Pavilion Hotel. It was a wise choice- affordable and convenient.

On Foreign Drama Series
I have always been a fan of Korean and Japanese series. The first foreign series I learned to love is the Meteor Garden. I was a fresh graduate then and when it was shown, I got nothing to do so I have all the time in the world to watch TV all I want. It was a good thing that this Taiwan drama series was translated to local language. When Endless Love 1 was shown in GMA 7, I didn’t get to watch it religiously that is why I had to buy a DVD of it in Quiapo. It has closed captioningthat’s why understanding the series, despite of having Korean audio, was never that hard to me.

Job Hunting
I'm so busy these past few weeks and almost forget about blogging. I don't know how to maintain this site any longer. So like what I decided before, I will no longer blog too much about things that are really not important for me. Unless, I can find an extra time to post them in here.
So yeah, I am struggling and crawling on the ground to get a job. I am no longer looking for a nice job. Even a McDonalds work will do. I am not desperate but I need money to feed my family. My baby is coming out in 3 months. Here I am still working in a part time job. Hoping still to get my Navy application to pushed through.

Speaking of Navy, the application wasn't really that easy. I didn't pass my ASVAB exam for a
the second fu*king time. But my recruiter said that my score qualified me into Navy Reserve. He also told me that the score that I had can acquire small selections of jobs in the Navy. Meaning, if I scored higher, I can choose plenty of jobs. So to make the story short, I have to take another exam.

I am not very happy after the exam. My mind was very exhausted and very frustrated after the result. I can't buy time to speed up the application. I really need it so much. But after knowing that my score didn't passed in active duty but rather just passed in Navy Reserve, the rainbow just came out from my smile and yeah it feels good that at least I did it as a reservist.

After a long day, me and my cousin spent the night at Radisson Hotel because the next day will be the Physical Exam. Damn, I couldn't sleep... I think I only had 1 hour of freaking nap! It's like every time I closed my eyes I think about what is gonna happen tomorrow, am I going to past the test? or maybe not... like suddenly they found some chemicals on my blood that related to drugs or they found out about my swelling index finger or something I don't know about fractures on my body. Yeah like those things. It's like every minute, I look at the clock and see if it's already morning. Damn it! LOL.

SO, It was 3am when we woke up and had our breakfast. We left the hotel at around 4am together with the other applicants like army, marine and airforce. When we reach the Headquarter or LA MEPS, the hell has began. It was full day of delays and suffering! We left at 5pm with no food on our stomach, because we didn't eat lunch and at the same time I am holding my crap. We did passed the test. Yet, no contract for us.
