Keeping Up at Night
I’m trying to drive performance in my team. Unfortunately, the management doesn’t have any incentive program in that will make the employees motivated. So I’m doing it my way. Top performer for the week will get a cup of Starbucks coffee and a piece of bagel. I know it’s not much but for people who work in a grave yard shift, drinking caffeine and eating something sweet will help one keep up during the night.

More on Weddings
During our wedding preparation, I was so into making our invitation done neatly and elegantly. Our wedding invitation was really nice, according to our guests. It was like we had it printed in one of those wedding invitation specialists. But because I thought that the envelope was too simple, I have thought of making some sort of a kimono belt using a specialized paper. I initially thought of using box cutter. But my husband, used to be fiancé insisted of just using a cardboard cutter

Mommy is highblood
My wife has reached her 8th months of pregnancy. Honestly, I am kinda scared. Eventhough the doctor said that her pregnancy is pretty normal, I am still kind'a nervous because she's always moody. It can possibly turns out to be a highblood pressure. She became more sensitive than usual. And as i said she's pretty moody.

I am missing her even more when we argue over some little things. Because during those bad moments and we're together, I always give her something that would ease her anger. Damn, I miss her so much... :-(

Maternity Portrait
I am still thinking whether I should get a maternity portrait or not. The cost is quite hefty in the pocket but I just just couldn't let this unforgettablle phase in my life slip like that. I want a tangible thing that I can cherish forver. Besides, I am not sure when we're gonna have our 'baby girl." Hehehehehe.

Business Review
Client managers were in town last week. It was a pretty exhausting week for me. Nevertheless, I had a great time with them. And so is my team. We had a lot of activities and everybody enjoyed every moment of it. Part of the reason why they decided to come and visit us here is to conduct a business review. Though I am not really a part of the executive management, "A" was kind enough to show me how our line of business is doing in general. I am not sure but I think they are using cpm to be better assess their line of business which is actually good. Clients left this Wednesday filled with smiles on their faces.

Court Room Drama
As soon as I finished season 6 of The Practice and season 5 of Boston Legal, I started watching Shark. I don’t know what is with this courtroom drama that the moment I play my DVD player, expect that I’m gonna have a DVD marathon. While being a criminal defense lawyer can be quite challenging, I fascinated with how Chicago personal injury lawyers are making money especially with the impact of physical and emotional stress that personal injuries bring. I am now down to the last 5 episodes of Shark’s season 1 and I am now searching the net if there is a season 2 of this magnificent courtroom drama.

Here's something new
After two weeks working in my new job, i quit. Yeah I know it's too soon. But I can't do the job that my trainer trying to teach me. I am always stress and uncomfortable. I am not really use to the kind of training that is time pressuring. They gave 2 weeks to learn, but during that time it's already been two weeks has past but still I am slow. So I decided just call it quits. Good thing that my cousin's wife offered me a job because someone has to leave they're position on their company. So someone has to fill the position immidiately. So I waited till wednesday waiting for my interview. After I got the interview I got hired right on the spot. They told me to report the next day, so there I am.

I would say that my job right now is pretty handy and not confusing not like the other one that I had before. My boss is pretty cool. He is a persian guy and I think he is pretty too. I've got to say that I will stay on this job for long. I love what I am doing on this job.

Losing Weight and Breastfeeding
I am already on my 7th month and 1 week pregnancy. Anxiety attacks me. I have been thinking, for quite sometime, what is going to happen to me come "labor day" especially with the fact that hubby will not be on my side when I deliver baby T. Apart from that, I am now facing the dilemma of how I will lose the weight that I gained during pregnancy. If breastfeeding will not work, I will have no other choice but to resort to exerise and I might just take some diet pill.

Differemy strokes for different folks
Leaders have different ways of motivating people. For some, motivating people means brushing them off. Some strongly believe that "it is better to be feared than be loved." Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me. Instead of punishing people, I make it a point that they will get to like what I like them to do without really pushing pressure on them. Telling people just the things that were done bad will not help boost performance. I just hope that leaders won't be be that insensitive.

Of Informercial and More
After watching Law and Order in RPN 9, the next program in queue is a home shopping network- bunch of infomercials. At first, I get irritated every time I come across a home shopping channel. But lately, I am having fun watching those infomercials especially the exercise equipment. I am not sure though if I going to buy one after Baby T comes out. There isn’t just enough space in the apartment. Besides, we have a few gym equipment in the office so I might just use what ever is in there.

A perfectly Disturbing Drama
Before the 2nd season of NIP/TUCK ended, it revealed whose Matt’s biological father though DNA testing. I am not surprised to see that story unfolds. I don’t know. I guessed my gut feel instinct just ran. The NIP/TUCK medical series is just awesome that I can’t get myself off from watching at least 5 episodes per day (oh, I mean every time before I go to sleep.) I am still on the 4th season and I can’t wait to get a hold of copy of its 5th season :)

WHAZZUP?
Geeze! I've been very busy with my new job in Los Angeles that I forgot to update or even visit my own blog site! So what's new? Well, i had a huge adjustment to make because I am not used to live in a city. And I've never been so worked out that much on my former job compare to the thing that I am doing with my new job right now. I am very stressed all the time. I am dealing with lots of customers over the phone. It's freaking hard when you hate talking to the phone as I'm not really a talkative type of person and I hate phone transactions. But I guess this is it. I need to do it because this my new job. As long as I get paid, I guess there will be no problem with it. But of course learning a new job would not be that easy. There are lots of things to remember. By the way, I got a job from an electronic online store and I am doing the processing of orders and yes a call center type of job like my Wife, customers service! damn... I never thought that I could be one of them. But yes the navy plan will still going. I'm going to take the exam next Friday. So, I better study hard so I can accomplish my plans with my family. It's just sad though, they have to wait. And my wife will have to deliver my son alone. I wish I could do more for her.

Rush Hour in LA!

Aside from the fact that I have a new job, I've mentioned that I have moved to LA. Thanks to my cousin Neo and his wife Leah for letting me stay in their apartment. They are very nice to me. My work is not too far from the apartment. So it is perfect! Yes, I am enjoying my stay with their place because they have a cute 3 year old daughter Trisha. She's funny little angel, she speak like an adult and act like one. I can now imagine my son after 3 years. God I wish I could take care of him!

I took a professional shot of Trisha in the park.

Speaking of my little me, I did some shopping for him. I know he is not out there yet but I want to get prepared. Well, my Mom and Dad sent me a money to buy their brand new car new sets of chrome wheels and they wanted to send them over to Philippines using door to door service shippers. So I grabbed the opportunity to use the available space inside the box.2008 Isuzu Alterra of my Parents! Nice!

Baby T's cutie stuffs!

So yeah I saved lots of money from shipping them over to Philippines. So it means, it's actually my parents who paid the shipping cost of my baby stuffs LOL. And my wife has a little business going on in her office. She sent me a list of items that her officemates want to buy in OLD NAVY. So that means, extra cash for her! Katching?

I am in front of Old Navy store!

How I wish the life is good. I wish that I could just quit my job and have my own business. The business that I've been planning with my wife. A photo and video service with studio and other party services. Damn, I went to Fry's a month a go and found these beautiful cameras that I've been drooling since I saw them. But the price is a WOW! 2k to 3k? FTW! I need to work my ass off real hard from now on! But family will comes first! di ba?

High end!

Anyway, my poor MR2 reached the highest stake of it's mileage. I think it's time for her to retire. But I just can't let her, because I have no money for getting another one. It's funny when I took the picture, the mileage was actually like this...

That's it for now... I have to sleep. Goodnight. :-)

Of PX goods and stores
Yesterday, I bumped off with one of my former co-worker from a previous call center. She's hurrying home because her family is set to fetch her elder sister in Clark's airport. After that, they will shop in the duty free stores in the area. She doesn't know what particular stores there are in the vicinity. I told her that there is the original Puregold and best buy, to name a few. I think now is the best time to buy PX goods since peso value is really strong.

Corporate giveaways
Two of our clients from Washington are set to arrive in two weeks. Last week we had a short meeting, just a sort of a touch base on how our team is doing. "A" asked me what our teams wants her to bring here in Manila. I could have asked for "Q" jackets but one jacket is just too costly. Perhaps, logo pens will be ideal. It's cheap and comes handy. But in any case, anything that she will bring for us will be highly appreciated.
