Thank God it's Payday Friday!
Thank God it's pay day Friday once again. It means that week end is just around the corner. Unfortunately though, my team has to go to work this Sunday. We are unable to complete the required completion rate target this week. One of my QASs even joked about our having to give employees allowance for acne treatment. Gosh! Haggard na ang beauty! LOL

Automatic or Manual?
Whenever friends and I would talk about whether it is better to have a car that has manual or automatic transmission, I would always go with a manual car. I know that it is more convenient to drive a car with a power steering rack but I guess I am more comfortable with a manual car because of those instance where we got stuck in the middle of the road where we were still able to make tulak of the car. LOL And you can’t do that in an automatic car.

Planning a U.S. Trip

I’m going to process my passport amendment this month to have my last name (maiden name) changed to my husband’s last name. If God permits it, I will be flying to the US sometime December of January next year. I am not really excited over seeing Disneyland and Universal studios as I have seen those when I was in Japan (though I know that there is still a difference). I am ore excited about strolling in Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the Fifth Avenue in New York and the Silver Dollar City in Branson,Missouri. Silver Dollar City boasts over 30 rides and attractions and is home to the amazing Marvel Cave, but what makes this theme park truly unique is the dozens of craftsman that practice the same skills used by the residents of the Ozarks who lived here in the 19th century, from baking to metal crafting. Now that is something new to me. There are lots of Branson packages but what captured my attention are these:

PLATINUMPACKAGE
Includes:
3 Days/2 Nights Welk Resort Hotel2 adult tickets to:Grand Jubilee$30 Red Lobster/Olive Garden Gift CardCoupon Book with $1,500 worth of savings$50 Tanger Outlet Shopping Certificate

Price : $457 per couple

SILVERPACKAGE
4 Days/3 Nights Grand Oaks2 adult tickets to:Silver Dollar CityBaldknobbersLegends in Concert

Price: $651 per couple

These promos are really "steal". Converting dollar into peso, what I will spend there is just the same as spending a 3days/2nights vacation in Boracay. It’s even cheaper than a vacation get-away in Palawan.

Yay! I'm getting excited over coming to the US. More importantly, I'm excited over seeing hubby again so that I would stop bugging and arguing with him over some silly things. LOL

Week End Bummer
Saturday was supposedly a webcam day for me and hubby but since few people are working with my in-laws house's renovation (and the fact that DSL connection wires have been screwed), we had to move it to Sunday. More of a bummer, the webcam that I just bought is not working properly. Not even a power signal. Good thing that I didn't buy a flash memory to that store. Otherwise, the one that I could have gotten is just another defective product.

Me for the Month of August
Cute babies everywhere. It's the sign of my baby is coming soon! Yeah me too i was surprise when I logged in to my blogger account and saw those 3 babies featured by blogger.com. They're so cute! It makes me wonder how's my baby looks like. Can't wait anymore. But too bad I can't be there to witness his birth and support my wife when she needed me most.

Well, what's up with me this month? There are a lot of things new about me. Forget about gadgets review. I know that I haven't put any gadget story for while but I promise I would when I am no longer lazy to do that.

Last month, all the rims and the baby stuffs that I sent for door to door, has finally arrived in my parents house. My wife was very happy with the baby stuffs. And my Dad was overwhelmed by the beauty and shiny wheels as well. It makes me wonder how he roll at the streets with those chrome big wheels with Mariachi mexican music with a big mustache and a sumbrero. LOL. My wife took a pic of my Dad's car, I'm impressed. It looks very nice with a black car. Although I knew that it's two toned by silver below. But I must say its very nice in deed.

I was trying to transfer all the pictures that I have in my cellphone and I saw this picture. The first date that we had after marriage. This was taken inside the starbucks in Tagaytay. We did'nt really dated in starbucks like we had a cofee and a cheap converstaion. Like HELLO? We did but after the we had dinner and watching live band in a resto-bar just below that starbucks area. This reminds me of loneliness. I bet she's 3x lonelier right now.

I promise to update this blog as often as I can. That's a promise. But for now, I have to go to work. Love ya'll. :-)

Watches and More
When I was in high school, I used to collect wristwatches. I think I have 13 of them, of different brands and style. What I would wear will depend on my mood on a particular. But I don’t think that I have a new pocket watches. I noticed though that a lot of people are into collecting pocket watch nowadays. I used to think that pocket watches are so traditional but I recently saw a pocketwatch in the internet that was so elegant and so fashionably-looking. I think I might want to own one in the future.

Pay Day Rush
You may not believe this but I honestly don't know how to do a balance transfer when I am in from of an ATM especially during pay day periods. I'm into saving money nowadays so I make it a point that I'll go to the bank to deposit some moeny. I'm so traditional when it comes to banking. I was just recently that I learned how to pay my bills online. I guess I am blaming it to the fact that it is usually my Mom who always pay my bills. She just has to know the due date of my bills and she will pay it off together with the other household utilities expenses that we have.

More on IT jobs

My brother has been to Singapore for 3 times already. That is just for the last 3 months. He was sent by his company to attend a conference that pertains to his job. While in the Lion City, he’s been into IT job search with employment agencies and some referrals from friends he met online. Singapore is just a small country but it offers a lot of opportunities in the IT field. Brother will be back there this September and this time, he’s dead set on landing a job there (he applied for an internal job posting in their company but he hasn’t heard any update yet).

I need a flash Drive!
I happened to stroll around SM Megamall today but blame it to me 'dementia,' I forgot AGAIN to buy a flash drive. I used to have a 2GB flash drive but I lost it just weeks before our wedding. It was such a bummer. It contained a lot of pictures and some pertinent items regarding our wedding. I am just grateful that other than pictures and excel files, it didn't contain contact details and financial accounts that could be hacked by whoever stole my handbag.

More on Business Talks
My small-time business of selling Victoria's Secret and Old Navy stuff clicked in the office. In fact, some of them are already anticipating when the next shipment will be. The last time that hubby sent me something, they can't find any shipping boxes that could fit the rims he bought for his folks' new SUV. He had to order a special one. Well, hopefully next month, we won't have a hard time looking for boxes. Aside from a few perfumes, he will only have to send VS and Old navy stuff again.
